Job hacking
Job hacking is the set of tactics for finding and reaching remote openings before they saturate, or before they are published at all. It combines scanning under-used sources, contacting the person who actually decides the hire, and tailoring each application rather than sending the same one everywhere.
It starts from an uncomfortable fact: in international remote openings the competition is not local but global, and arrival order weighs as much as the profile. The first forty-eight hours of a posting absorb a huge share of the applications that get read carefully. Everything after that competes against recruiter fatigue.
