Solopreneur

A solopreneur runs a business with no employees, leaning on automation, tooling and occasional external collaborators. They differ from freelancers in selling a systematised service or product rather than their time, so income does not grow only by adding hours.

The model's ceiling is always the same: the person. So the lever is not working more but shrinking what only they can do. Documenting processes, automating the repetitive and delegating the delegable is what separates a solopreneur with margin from a freelancer with a full calendar and no room to grow.
