Remote stack
A remote stack is the set of tools underpinning a distributed person or team: communication, documentation, task management, storage, payments and automation. It is defined not by the list of applications but by how they fit together and who does what in each.
The usual failure is accumulating overlapping tools until nobody knows where information lives. A healthy stack has a single source of truth per data type and explicit rules about what gets discussed in which channel. Fewer, well-connected tools outperform many half-used ones.
